A few weeks ago,
Tim Holtz shared a tutorial for making the colorful floral pins shown above using the
Tattered Florals die by Sizzix. He challenged us to create our own layered creation using the Tim HoltzTattered Florals die. Today, March 22, is the last day to share your creations! I thought I might add one more photo to all the amazing submissions to this challenge. I love making these, so I am adding a little charm I made. I used the next-to-the-smallest flower on the Tattered Florals die and cut it out of
Ranger Inkssentials Clear Shrink Plastic. The flower shrinks to 3/4"--very cool! The flower and hand-cut leaves were colored with
Adirondack Alcolol Inks: Shell Pink and Meadow. I used a coat of
Diamond Glaze to seal them before assembling with silver findings and glass beads. Note: The smallest flower on this die also makes a great charm element, shrinking to about 1/4". I was going to add it, but liked the simplicity of the single flower and leaves best.
