Shayari Scrapbook

Here's a mini scrapbook for shayari which I made for a friend.  

I also made a heart shaped box to keep the heart shape scrapbook in.

 I think it will be more interesting to write/read shayari from a pretty scrapbook.

 I chose different colors of sheets to make pages for the scrapbook so it gives a cool look when seen from side.

2013 Easel Album

The theme for Hands 2 Heart Jan Challenge is "A New Beginning" so I have made a special Easel Album cum Desktop Calender.  Not only it would capture the new year's memories but also it display the calender.  

Album Cover, this is how it looks when it's close...

Inside view upon opening the album .. .

It has two pockets on inside book cover ..

Now the fun part, I turn it inside out and set it up for the display .. like so ..

There are 6 pages and each page has a pocket and a tag inside..

I plan on capturing 2013 by adding my list of my resolutions, monthly horoscope, journal month review and a lot of pictures as the year progresses and events take place.

The Story of US

Here's the cover of the mini album that I have been working on and it's The Story of US..  

I have altered the oval frame by adding some white pearls to it.. burnt the edges of golden paper ..used a special heart shaped hanging object that's called 'Latkan' .. I'm not sure but I think that is added on dresses but it's so pretty so I got it for my project.  Recycled a box chipboard to make this cover.

I have made a shopping bag for the next page of my mini album and I was having so much fun making  the bag that I even made a smaller version just for fun. 

The backside of the shopping bag is glued to the page and the bottom portion opens when the bag is opened.. 

Inside it has a booklet ..

HO HO HO

HO HO HO ! dear Santa is stuck in the chimney and looks like he forgot the gift outside ..

I made a pocket to hold the gift in place, chimney bricks are made with 2 different shades of red, added glitter to show snow on roof top, some hanging decorations from the roof  and added cotton on Santa's pant.

Dresser

This is a dresser, another one of my own made template.  To hold it down to the page I have added a gold color clip on top.  Made a pocket behind it to add the photo mat.

Christmas Tree

This is a Christmas tree layout .. a snow covered and decorated Christmas tree, all shinny and glittery .. 

 This is how the tree looks without the tag..

 The upper layer of the tree slides and underneath is a simple tree which is perfect space for journal.

Snow Globe

Here is a Snow Globe, I wanted to make something that goes well with snowman in the photo so I made Snow Globe.  I tried to make the photo a part of the Snow Globe.  Glitter is in between two clear sheets so it is quite fun to shake it and see the snow (glitter) fall.. 

Tag can be easily pulled out using the ribbon..

Gazebo

 I so much wanted to make Gazebo and I finally did that.  Decorated the Gazebo with loads of flowers & glitter..

Inside it has space for journal .. the tags comes out from behind ..

Bird Cage

This is a Birdcage layout, birdcage is hand drawn and painted with golden color.

Inside view .. blends so well with the capitol building shape .. done some doodling on the other side.

Flowers from my Scrapbook

These are some flowers from my Scrapbook pages.. 

 Used an old book pages to make the flowers and added a button as the center piece.

 Multi-colored paper flower with a mirror in the center.

 I used transparent glittery nail paint to turn a simple flower into a glossy one.

 Fabric flower

Fabric and paper mixed to make this flower.  So, what if I lost one piece of earring from the pair, I can still make use of the remaining one as the center of my flower!

I love making these roses, do let me know if you want to know how to make these.

 Tissue paper flower that has board pin in the center.

Small flowers that I added to the heart shape, used pearls as the center.

Simply used Glitter on this flower..

 Another type of Fabric flower..

 Ribbon Flower.

I love flowers, paper flowers, fabric flowers or any type of flowers they work wonders on your craft projects.
