All About Sal Praschnik Jewelry

The name Sal Praschnik is synonymous with elegant opulence. Hailing from Cuba, Praschnik entered the diamond trade in 1946. By 1949, he had come to the United States. Although interrupted by the Korean War, the jeweler took up the trade once again. It would take another 19 years before he made the move to Miami and decided to start Sal Praschnik Jewels.

Today, this family business continues to thrive on the same principles that made it great in the first place. Building a team of gifted designers, artisans and business insiders, Praschnik continues to make the type of jewelry that turns into heirlooms. Crossing the line of wearable art, the pieces are timeless and suitable for all formal occasions. Not surprisingly, they have attracted the attention of those wealthy enough to afford them.

Currently, there are nine collections.

Anana. Combining silver and gold, these pieces feature exquisitely hammered gold and diamond-studded accent work. Necklaces and bracelets complement one another for a stunning look that needs little in the way of added accessories.

Cheetah. Taking his inspiration from the vivid spots of the wild cat, the Cheetah collectionoffers rings, pendants, bracelets and brooches. Set against the backdrop of black-accented gold, there are plenty of diamonds and other precious stones. These jewels are conversation starters for sure.

D’adora. This collection thrives on whimsical curlicues and designs. Pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets complement one another beautifully. Pair silver and gold designs for a fun look or stay within the same color family for a sophisticated appearance.

Davido. Men’s wristbands come with dramatic workmanship but maintain a decidedly masculine flair. Silver and gold accents work together to act as show stoppers. Ridges create the texture that makes the larger size look attractive. Color accents break up any monotony and ensure that these pieces are easy to pair with the right clothes. These are casual-wear items that can nevertheless shine at formal occasions.

Felizia. For jewelry that hugs the finger, wrist or ear, this collection is a must-have. Silver and gold coloration creates a visually attractive look.

Flores. As the name implies, there is a strong floral motif that makes up the Flores collection. Diamonds accentuate the elegant nature of the flowers.

Power. The bold shapes are for the man or woman who is not afraid to show off these strong designs. From geometric shapes to hearts, the pieces are casual yet refined.

Stepping Stones.Beautifully textured material acts as the canvas for diamonds set carefully within the metal. The textured look makes these rings and pendants pop.
Unity. Another collection that thrives on the combination of gold and silver
coloration, these pieces are sturdy and delicate at the same time. They are suitable for evening wear and draw the eyes of onlookers.
