I am just now getting around to posting the Butterfly book I made when Tammy (Tammy Tutterow) taught at Scrapbook Generation in April. This was the Made-From-Scratch Butterfly Book I posted a few weeks ago. It was such a fun class. Here is my book . . .
Tammy used the Butterfly Garden Collection by Pink Paislee for this book. The entire collection is beautiful! The class kit included the collection of papers, the 88-piece ephemera pack, buttons, and lots of other goodies. I picked up a few extra sheets of paper after the class, and another ephemera pack later on to play with.

I trimmed the cut-out with some scraps of the Sticky-back Canvas for fun. The rosette was made from scraps, and the leaves were left over from another project.

The page on the left has a lift-up flap with a little butterfly charm, leaving a full page underneath for text or photos--actually it was supposed to be on the previous page, but I obviously did it backwards. (I put butterflies on the page with missing flap.) This is art--right?. The next page features a cleverly designed (by Tammy) little flap. Really cute.

I cut out 2 butterflies from the 12 X 12 papers and layered it for a little extra touch.

The butterfly serves as a latch that opens up to a double-page spread. Tammy designed all the cool templates for this made-from-scratch book!

The page on the right has a large pocket for holding some larger things. I used it for the butterfly poem. A copy of the poem is displayed below.
The back cover was really special because I got it on upside-down. It might have gone unnoticed except it was text! I glued the birds from the ephemera pack over the evidence and it looked great!
Not shown is a poem I added after the photos were taken. It is called The Butterfly by Richard Netherland Cook. Please give credit to the author if you use this poem in your book.

Fluttering about the garden flowers.
