The artisans have chosen 14k solid yellow gold as the setting material for the ivory-colored cultured pearl. We date this pendant to the 1900s. The pearl itself weighs about 3.5 grams and is GIA-certified to be completely natural. Since it features a medium-luster baroque shape, it makes for an eye-catching addition to any jewelry ensemble.

South Sea Pearl and Diamond Pendant 

 

This solitaire pendant features 18k solid yellow gold and a South Sea pearl. The gold has been blackened to present a beautiful counterpoint to the sparkle of 97 full-cut diamonds weighing 1.00cts. The cultured South Sea pearl measures about 19mm by 16mm. Manufactured by Aspire Design, this pendant is actually part of the MVEE collection.

Made for pierced ears, the setting material of the stud earrings is 14k solid yellow gold. Eighty seed pearls surround two cabochon turquoises. The diameter of the un-dyed turquoise earrings is 5/8 inches.

Gold Bead Necklace Featuring Multiple Gemstones and Pearls

Vintage Art Deco Jewelry: The Perfect Holiday Gift!

After World War I, Art Deco was the design style that captured worldwide audiences by storm. In the United States, the idiosyncratic design elements of this style not only found expression in architecture but also in jewelry design. The affinities for simple lines, platinum and geometric shapes are so distinct that it is very easy even for a novice to recognize the Art Deco designs. Peter Suchy has a vast inventory of striking Art Deco jewelry pieces that make the perfect holiday gift this year.

Platinum Pendant with Emerald-Cut Diamond 

 

We date this piece to the 1920s. The platinum setting supports a shield-cut diamond that weighs .69cts. A second diamond features an emerald cut and weighs .47cts. The platinum chain measures 16 inches in length. Wear this piece against a solid or multi-colored top.

Pink Gold Diamond Buckle Earrings 

 

The lines of the buckles are simple and refined, which is in keeping with the archetypal Art Deco design precepts. The setting material features 14k pink gold. Dating back to about 1945, there are six round full-cut diamonds that weigh .06cts. These earrings are made for pierced ears.

Diamond and Black Onyx Clip Post Earrings
